Install Livada SEO and activate your license
The shortest path between your purchase and an optimized site: get your key, install the plugin, activate the license. Three minutes, zero lines of code.
- Open the confirmation email: it contains your license key and the download link.
- Download
livada-seo.zip. - WordPress → Plugins → Add New → Upload → install → activate.
- Livada SEO → License → paste the key → Activate license.
- Status "Active" ✓ → automatic updates are unlocked.
What you need before you start
Just one thing: the confirmation email for your purchase. It arrives within minutes of payment and contains both your license key and the plugin's download link. Keep it handy — it's the only thing you'll need.
Get your license key
After your purchase, you'll receive an email from Livada (sender
[email protected]).
It contains:
- Your license key — a long string of characters, to be copied in full.
- The plugin's download link.
- A reminder of your plan (Solo, Studio or Agency) and the number of sites allowed.
Download the plugin
Click the download link in the email, or grab the ZIP directly:
- Official ZIP: livada.io/downloads/livada-seo.zip
- The file is called
livada-seo.zip— don't unzip it, WordPress takes care of that.
Install on WordPress
Good practice: as with any plugin, back up your site first (most hosts do this automatically). Then:
- In the WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Click Choose File, select
livada-seo.zip. - Install Now, then Activate Plugin.
Activate your license
This is the step that turns the install into a fully functional plugin (updates, support, premium features).
- In the left-hand menu: Livada SEO → License. You'll see a red banner reading "No active license."
- Paste your key (format
LIVADA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) into the "License key" field, in full, with no space before or after. - Click Activate license.
The plugin verifies the key against
livada.io/api/license/activate.
Within a second, the banner turns green: "License active" and displays
your plan (Solo, Studio, Agency, Lifetime…), the associated email,
the expiration date (or "never" for a lifetime license) and the site the license is applied to.
First setting (1 minute)
License active? Make the one setting that delivers the most value right away:
- Livada SEO → Schemas: choose Organization or LocalBusiness and fill in your name, address and phone (NAP). This is what Google and AI systems read first.
- Livada SEO → AI Bot Access: run the live diagnostic to check that ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can read your site (see the dedicated tutorial).
Multiple sites? Slots
The same key can be activated on several sites depending on your plan. Each activation uses 1 slot:
Migrating a site or shutting one down? Open Livada SEO → License on that site and click Deactivate on this site: the slot is freed up immediately and can be reused elsewhere. After a renewal, the Check again button re-checks the status with the server.
Not activating?
If the banner stays red, the message tells you exactly why:
"License key not recognized"
The key was copied incorrectly or doesn't exist. Copy it again from the email, with no space before or after.
"The license has expired"
The subscription is no longer active. Renew from your customer portal, then click Check again.
"Maximum number of sites reached for this license"
All allowed sites are in use. Deactivate the license on a site you're not using (Deactivate on this site), or upgrade to a higher plan.
"This key is registered on another domain"
The key is already active elsewhere. Deactivate it on the other site first, then reactivate it here.
"Unable to reach the license server"
Temporary network issue. Try again in a few minutes using Check again.
